This Cookie Policy explains how Chapman Digital LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on chapmandigital.co (the “Website”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, scripts, and embedded content that can store or read identifiers, or cause your browser to request resources from third parties.

What We Use Today

As of the Effective Date, our first-party Website codebase does not include:

  • Google Analytics;
  • advertising or retargeting pixels;
  • a cookie-consent banner that stores preference cookies; or
  • e-commerce / shopping-cart cookies.

We may still use, or cause your browser to interact with, the following:

Essential / security technologies

  • Cloudflare hosting, CDN, and security features that help deliver the site and protect against abuse.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile on contact and careers forms to verify submissions are from humans. Loading Turnstile may involve cookies or similar storage from Cloudflare’s challenge domains.

These technologies are used to operate and secure the Website and forms.

Functional / embedded third-party content

The Website loads the Chatwoot live-chat widget sitewide, and some pages include other third-party scripts or frames. These services may set their own cookies:

  • Chatwoot live-chat widget, loaded from Chatwoot Cloud (app.chatwoot.com). Chatwoot may set cw_conversation to persist a conversation as you navigate between pages or revisit the Website. Chatwoot also documents cw_user_{identifier} for caching contact details when a contact is identified through its setUser SDK method; our current first-party Website code does not call that method.
  • Cal.com scheduling embed on contact and some service pages (app.cal.com).
  • Google Maps embed showing our Boston meeting office.

The Chatwoot script may load whenever you visit the Website, even if you do not open the chat. Cal.com and Google Maps load only on pages where those embeds appear. These third-party technologies are not needed for the Website’s core static content.

First-party application storage (not browser marketing cookies)

Contact and career form submissions are processed by our Cloudflare-hosted APIs. Career application records and files are stored in Cloudflare D1/R2 for recruiting. Rate-limit counters use short-lived hashed keys in Cloudflare KV. Those are server-side controls described in the Privacy Policy, not advertising cookies on your device.

Categories We Do Not Currently Use for Marketing

We do not currently operate Website advertising cookies, social-plugin tracking pixels, or first-party analytics cookies for marketing measurement. If that changes, we will update this Policy (and the Privacy Policy) and implement any required notices or choices.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings (block all, block third-party, delete existing cookies, or alert before storing). Blocking security or embed-related cookies may break form bot checks, live-chat continuity, scheduling, or maps.

For third-party embeds, you can also avoid loading those page sections or use browser extensions that restrict third-party content.

Do Not Track

Our Website does not change its behavior solely based on browser “Do Not Track” signals. See the Privacy Policy for other choices and rights.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies or legal requirements change. The Effective Date above shows the latest revision.
